Homecoming attire ready for future grand kids!

Comparison starts right from the moment you find out you are pregnant again. Actually even before. While you are trying to conceive perhaps? And I'm no different. I know all new born babies look very similar. In fact, I saw a baby in the hospital who looked exactly like Antu and if I were nt holding her in my hands, I would ve grabbed the other baby claiming she was mine! So it should nt come as a surprise when the sisters look alike especially in the same set of clothes. I had asked my mom to bring this particular white outfit of Ashu's from India. It was what Ashu was wearing when she came home from the hospital. And that's exactly what I wanted Antu to wear too. (Utbt - Remember the dress? Yes, you sent it for Ashu 3 years back!) So here they are and thus my alpa aasai (silly wish) has been fulfilled.

What a wonderful alpa aasai! :) They do look.. identical. For a second I didn't realize why you had two similar photos side-by-side.

Thats quite a fun comparision and a cute wish fulfilling.

Replace the last "a" with an "o" and that would mean "small" or "little" in bengali. assai sounds like asha.
Just looking for similarities in diffrences.
Isn't that fun?

Neha - I thought it was only silly me who thought they were similar but when I showed the photos to my mom and she was confused, I knew this was big!! :))

Reva - Left to right: Ashu and Antu! :D

Shobana - The cap actually helps because Ashu was almost bald as a baby and Antu has quite a bit of hair. So let see!

Deepa - Right! No, not Antara! ;)) Ashus hair turned curly from silky after the first mottai. I shudder at the thought of another curly mop to tame! Sigh!

S and A - Yes, "alpa aasai" is a small or little wish too! Sanskrit source huh?

Vidhya - Thanks.

Chulbuli - Thats her Blog name! :D

LV - Left to right: Ashu & Antu!

For a second there, I thought Ashu was ready with the football to play some contact sport with Antu! No sibling rivalry, yet? Hehehe

We have just one baby and still been subjected to sibling rivalry of all shapes and surprises, including one where Cubby was the elder sibling. It was great fun to see those 8-24 months tiny cold shoulders. And this is just among cousins.

Wonder how it will be when he has a full-time attention-grabber at home...

Super! akka'vukku thangai thappaama porandhirukka ;-)

Your mom wouldn't happen to have a picture of you in similar clothes now, would she? ;-) Icing on the cake would be if there were pics of you and your sis like this - then it'll be all 4 in same clothes.. ok, I'll stop now.
