So we are leaving for India tomorrow. Hd joins us 2 weeks later. TWO WEEKS. Of no kids. Of no spouse. sigh! I am so jealous. I ve never been so jealous in my life! Hereby I declare that as soon as I wean Antu, Im taking off. At least for a weekend. Im telling this here because if I don't, please come back and beat me. With a chappal.

ReplyDeleteboo, I had been already planning on my "weaning trip" - one of my great fantasy time-pass during pregnancy!!! Mine goes as far as hike to Kilimanjaro or cruise to Lakshwadeep, or meet the natives of New zealand, and ofcourse Euro trips... but sometimes I get real and think of options within India ...
ReplyDeleteMy most favorite on the list for now in Bhubaneshwar excluding Puri temple (I hear its as worse as going to Kali temple in Kolkata!!!) ... But Chilka Lake, Konark temple and where the river meets the ocean etc... are all supposed to be very good - heard many good things about there ...
And I hear Sikkim-Gangtok is very nice too!!!
Ofcourse Goa (;) ...) is heaven in December ... Take a resort in South Goa, and just get into the water all day. Palolem is our favorite spot where you can go to see dolphins in a catamaran and hang out on the calm ocean all day!!! :) ...
