I was that horrible boring wife who never watched a cricket match with the hubi who was looking for company and tried various ways to educate me on cricket ... My earlier defence of girls get bored with these doesnt work these days, (as its proven right here in this space!!!) ... Given that tendulkar and sehwag went out quickly, prax felt doomed and was screaming at all of us and switched off the TV and we went out for a walk and came back ... Gautam Gambhir was still holding hopes high ... I actually watched the match until the end after that ... with firecrackers making merry for every boundary and sixer ... I always greatly admired dhoni - especially with his "khaili act" for pepsi and was happy he was THE hero ... 'see I always knew maturity and patience matters in leadership' I even commented - but in the end I fell in love with Sankarakara - his words swept my feet away ... Dhoni talked like a CEO ... Sankarakara just grabbed my soul just by his words - what a man ... Yes I am the odd person out here ... But hey I am happy to witness a huge cultural event in India!!! :) Cricket craziness is our culture isnt it?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15986701.post-50676779327155230012011-04-06T04:34:59.049+02:002011-04-06T04:34:59.049+02:00We were in a train for the last hour or so of the ...We were in a train for the last hour or so of the match, and also watched it at the station along with hundreds of others before we boarded.
